Ladislao Pablo Győri (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1963) began his literary activity and his experiences in computer graphics in the 1980s. An electronics engineer by profession, first venturing into computer-aided design and then into digital animation techniques, he has promoted a 3D geometric art from these platforms, closely related to the Madí aesthetic. Also interested in experimental poetry, he used information theory in the composition of his book Estiajes (1994), whose closing essay anticipates the use of AI for aided creation within man-machine systems, foreshadowing today's generative and computational approaches to art.
As a technical assistant to Gyula Kosice during the 1990s, he participated in numerous sculptural projects and digital artworks. In 1994, they co-founded the interdisciplinary group TEVAT along with the semiotician José E. García Mayoraz. The following year, Győri proposed his virtual poetry, a pioneering endeavor that managed to integrate the poetic function of languages into virtual reality systems.
He is the author of various books related to visual arts, writing, and information technology: First 25 Visual Years (2010), an illustrated anthology; Kosice y el arte tecnológico (2011), which marked the beginning of his publishing initiative Aero; Maquinado aditivo en artes visuales (2013), where he put forward his desbordantista (overflowing) geometry, associated with 3D printing techniques; Notación para lenguaje inexistente (2014) and Exography (2017), do the same with exographism; the typographic exercise Lógica de sustracciones a un cuadrado (2019); and the atypical essay on photographic issues Impresiones oculares en una visita (2021).
A participant in numerous events related to the aforementioned topics, his works gained significant exposure through various international publications, mainly in academic circles.
